One of the most anticipated titles this year is no doubt Epic’s Gears of
War 3. And, as such, Microsoft has decided to brand Xbox 360s the world
over with the logo and iconic crimson omen of the franchise as well as
painting it black and bloody red, everything as part of a limited
edition package considering the game is expected to be huge and sell a
lot.The console will boast a 320GB harddrive and two of Microsoft’s
transforming d-pad wireless controllers — in black and red as well —
alongside the actual game. This package will set you back $399.99 in the
US and, revealed just now, £269.99 in Europe. The standard Xbox 360
edition goes for £199.99, making the Gears of War 3 Limited Edition
console somewhat of a money-worthy contestant if anyone’s planning on
getting one.
The branded Xbox 360 is scheduled to go on sale in September as the game
hits the streets.
