Halo 4 To Return To Series’ Roots

Halo 4 is going to kick start a new trilogy, giving Halo fans the
continuation of the beloved series. However, even though the series is
moving forward, 343 Industries intends to take Halo 4 back to what made
Halo such a success in the first place.

Microsoft UK’s Xbox & Entertainment director Stephen McGill stated
in a recent interview, “One of the key things with Halo 4 is going back
to what made it amazing for people playing the first Halo.”

“But the people who are 18 years old now were only eight when Halo
appeared. They probably didn’t play it. That’s the opportunity the
Anniversary pack and then Halo 4 have.”

So what do you make of this return to roots for the Halo series? Any
theories?

Halo 4 currently has an unspecified 2012 release date, with Halo: CE
Anniversary scheduled for release on November 15th, 2011.
